John B. Piass executor of Charles Hall deceased files final account in Union County Oregon Court. Court sets Monday September 20 1909 at 2 pm in La Grande for objections and settlement. Attorney R H Lloyd represents the estate.
Chairman Will Church and the fair advertising committee arranged how premium lists are shared in the city gates. Samples will be left at two banks, all drug stores, and at the Commercial club so anyone can obtain and read a copy. Public cooperation is urged to ensure all lists reach interested citizens amid high demand.
Pendleton scene unfolds as A C Koeppen seeks to gather funds from La Grande business men to present Herbert O Roesch with the first blanket produced by the new woolen mill this fall. He aims to collect 10 cents per contributor to showcase the city and industry.
Another delighted audience saw The Parish Priest at the Pastime theatre last night. The cast delivered standout performances and the production was praised as superior to any local prior offerings for the price. The play is scheduled again tonight and tomorrow night.
