La Grande flouring mill to resume operations next week
Ed Kiddle plans an eastbound trip to purchase new machinery for the rebuilt mill at Island City. The Pioneer Flouring Mill Co owner of the La Grande mill says all mills will be running by next week with one shift initially then 24 hour operation. Wheat receipts begin this week as the plant gears up for a prosperous run.
