Trial Next Tuesday in Holverton Liquor Case
The trial of Nela Holverton of Hil gard for polling liquor is set for next Tuesday before the Justice of the Peace Angua Stewart. Constable LW Faulk reported from T Springs where Holverton stayed, and Holverton pleaded not guilty through attorney Cr. H. Finn, asking the case be postponed.

Kill Ibex and Trout Outing in Baker County Reported
The Parker brothers W and T and Carl Parker Ed Cranston and Tom Hessel returned from eastern Oregon with news of three Ibex killed and many seen. They found trout and enjoyed the outing. the Ibex are nearly extinct elsewhere, with remaining populations in eastern Oregon and a few in China.
