Mr and Mrs George Ackles plan to move to Portland due to Mr Ackles health after many years in La Grande. They sold their Jackson Street property to Wills Church with undisclosed consideration and will depart immediately for lower altitude as friends regret the move hoping for Mr Ackles benefit from the change.

McMillan Brother Dies After Long Illness
Dr. W D McMillan learned this morning of the death of his brother J A McMillan after a long illness. The elder McMillan had visited here several weeks ago and was a familiar figure to friends. The physician plans to return to Portland tonight and likely come back Tuesday morning.
