Through Trains Again After Westward Wreck Delay
Train service resumed on the R&N after a head end collision seven miles west of Glenna Ferry damaged the freight engine and caused a separate tree burn between Ontario and Huntington. No fatalities occurred though both crews were lightly injured and a freight conductor misread an order about lateness. The line remained disrupted for hours before normal service returned.

Died Coy In This City Mrs Coy’s Daughter Passes
Lens Mather Coy aged twenty two died Friday at 11 45 in this city at the family home after months of consumption. The funeral will be held Sunday at 2 30 PM at the Presbyterian church with Rev WL Van Nuys of Pendleton officiating. It was her last request that he deliver the sermon. The community extends heartfelt sympathy to the family.
