Char Anderson Gains Noted Farm Success Near Wendell
Major Fred R. Reed praises Chas. Anderson and his wife for transforming seventy acres near Wendell Idaho into a thriving farm. He cites wheat five to six feet tall with five inch heads and oats six feet tall with foot long heads. Reed offers to tour the site to show the remarkable yields and mature fields.

A Jersey cow was found at the top of Mt. Emily on June 28, branded on the left side but not clearly marked. The owner can reclaim by calling and providing proof of ownership.

Reward Offered for Pony Stolen in La Grande Region
H Eichenberger offers 100 dollars for the arrest and conviction of the thief who took a 1000 pound black pony from a pasture last week in March. The pony has a white hind foot and brands a small H on the right shoulder and a half circle V on the left stifle. Location La Grande.
Notice of Impounded Stock in La Grande Oregon
On August 4 1909 L Rayburn chief of police of La Grande Oregon impounded a red and white bull weight about 800 pounds age around 18 months branded C on left hip for running at large. Owner may claim and pay costs within ten days or animal will be advertised and sold per city ordinance.
