Peculiar Catch On The Katherine Inspires New Sport Hope
A La Grande trout enthusiast recounts accidentally catching a grouse while fishing on the North Fork of the Catherine above J B Thompson’s. After the miscast snagged by sunlight, the bird flew into his line and he landed it after a five minute fight boosting his opinion of hunting trout and game combined.
