Plane Crash Kills 2 At Cataract Field Day
Two men died when a small Tri-Pacer private plane plowed into the Cataract Sportsmen's Club field day parking lot near Cataract Wisconsin. Pilot Michael Vieth 23 and passenger James Sullivan 24 perished. Eyewitness reports say the single engine craft swooped low before crashing, with extensive vehicle damage and a crowd of over 500 on the grounds. Federal investigators expected to review the scene.
