Rites Set For Three Hunters Drowned In Mississippi
Funeral services for three La Crosse men who drowned in the Mississippi River near Brownsville Minnesota will be held Wednesday and Thursday. Bodies were recovered Monday by commercial fishermen. The deceased are Keith Furber 28 Nyle Peters 24 and Rudie Glazer 34 all employed by Low Motor Co. Furber and Glazer services are Wednesday Peters service Thursday. Burial in Oak Grove cemetery. Glazer survived by wife Janette two sons LeRoy and Richard his parents Mr and Mrs Frank Glazer Sr one sister Miss Mary Glazer and two brothers Frank Jr and August Anthony all of Sheboygan Wisconsin born September 21 1916 a World War II veteran. UN To Keep Trygve Lie as UN Secretary General
The United States urged the General Assembly to extend Trygve Lie’s term amid Soviet veto attempts in the Security Council. Warren R.
