Louis Kuehn Dies in Milwaukee at 81
Louis Kuehn an 81-year-old former La Crosse and Milwaukee industrialist died Saturday in a Milwaukee hospital after visiting there. He founded La Crosse Steel Roofing and Corrugating in 1896 then Milwaukee Corrugating in 1902 and helped run the Minlcor Steel branch in La Crosse. He directed Inland Steel before selling his firm in 1920s, remained chairman of Metal Products founded by his son George. Survived by wife Viarda Rose, son George L. of Milwaukee, daughter Marie Kuehn Ingersoll of Chicago, and a sister in France. Funeral arrangements incomplete.
