Marine Corps Probes Fatal Accident at Camp Pendleton
The Marine Corps investigates an amphibious personnel carrier overturn that killed Lance Cpl. Donald M. Lange, 22, of Gleason Wisconsin, and injured 22 others during a routine training near Camp Pendleton California. Of the 22 hurt, all but three were released. the remaining three are in satisfactory condition. The 26 foot tracked carrier, carrying 25 troops and 3 crew, plunged down an embankment inland about five miles from the Pacific Ocean.
