Century-Old Ex-Viroqua Woman Dies
Ella C. Morgan 100, formerly of Viroqua, died November 7 at the Masonic Home in Dousman where she had lived since 1961. Funeral services set for Sunday at Jacobson Vance Funeral Home in Viroqua with burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery Retreat. She was born October 15, 1868 in Elmwood Illinois and taught rural schools before marrying Will Morgan in 1890. She was a past matron and 50-year member of Eastern Star. Surviving are three daughters Maude Davis and others, two sons, sixteen grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. One daughter preceded her in death.
