Michael Mulroy won the La Crosse County district attorney post with 56 percent, defeating incumbent Edmund Nix. Sheriff Black, County Clerk Fiedler, and Coroner Seinfelder also led rivals. In the 32nd District, Paul Offner defeated Douglas Farmer to become senator, while Keith Ellison won 481 votes.
