Convoy Arrives at Camp McCoy With Engineer Troops
A convoy of about 100 vehicles carrying 500 to 600 men from the 63rd Engineer Combat Battalion is expected to arrive at Camp McCoy Wisconsin late Friday. They traveled from Waterloo Iowa after camping there Thursday night to replace Company A of the 544th Engineer Construction Battalion which has been handling maintenance and construction duties at the post since February. The new unit will provide support for all engineer units training at Camp McCoy this summer and assume maintenance and construction tasks.
