Striking proof of identity of the lost John Oath found
In Madison Wisconsin Bob Shields a Superior politician paid 123 for a special train to bring Assemblyman William Reader to Madison March 2 to vote for Isaac Stephenson. Ticket clerk Thomas Anderson testified a stranger ordered the train and used Reader's name for a receipt. Reader says he paid for the train himself. Also Dee Wiling testified about campaign payments and paper advertising connected to Stephenson. In Ohio Johann Salvator, who claims to be the missing archduke, returned to his room in Painesville awaiting proof of his identity.

Hailstorm Kills Seven in Texas Tent Camp
Seven Mexicans died in a tent camp south of Uvalde Texas as a violent hailstorm battered southern Texas. The storm produced the largest hailstones seen in the area and lasted about forty minutes, tearing canvas tents and penetrating light roofs while people sought shelter. Robbery Report At Optician Lewin's Office
Dr I E Lewin optician of 420 North Fourth street reports a midnight break in to his room. A man known to Lewin for about a week stole 26 03 from a small bank he kept there. Burned matches and a desk key were found. A forged check for 35 drawn on a north side bank was involved and returned to the Batavian bank after being presented at collection. Police notified.
