Pvt Donald W Novacek son of Mr and Mrs Charles Novacek of 706 South Eighth street has been missing since February 13 according to a Washington report. He served in World War II and Korea, returned to La Crosse to farm, recalled to service in October 1950 with the 30th Infantry in Korea. He is survived by his wife two children six sisters and one brother. A brother Sgt Raymond was killed in action in Europe.

Injured Man Summons Aid After Lying On Mountaintop
