Death of Jalmer Johnson After Drunken Shooting
Jalmer Johnson 22 of 1227 South Eighth Street died at Lutheran hospital at noon from a pistol wound inflicted during a quarrel at the Wenzel Brosig home on South Eighth Street. Albert Linhart, 1603 South Eighth, is a fugitive after the shooting. The death followed an epileptic fit as the bullet pressed on the brain. Police consider the shooting potentially intentional though no warrant was issued.
