No Progress In Talks Judge Continues Order

West Allis Mayor Dies After Speech

Arnold H. Klentz 71, serving as West Allis mayor since 1944, collapsed and died Monday after delivering a dinner speech. He had led the League of Wisconsin Municipalities as president and chaired the Inter governmental Cooperation Council for Milwaukee.

Eighty POWs Heading Home From Clark Air Base

Eighty of 106 American prisoners of war released by North Vietnam will fly to the United States Wednesday on planes to Andrews Air Force Base, Scott Air Force Base, Kelly Field, and Travis Air Force Base. Remaining POWs at Clark will total 56 with two West Germans.

POW Choir Sings At Clark Air Base After Hanoi Return

Tears filled the eyes of former prisoners of war as a 17 member choir at Clark Air Base Philippines performed four songs from memory two days after arriving from Hanoi. Roberts Nominated For Assessor Post

La Crosse deputy chief assessor Kenneth Roberts, 38, was chosen by the Common Council Judiciary Committee to succeed Charles G. Whaley as chief assessor. The vote favored Roberts over Richard Meir, helped by Meir's unwillingness to move into the city. Roberts, a 1966 entrant to the office and former deputy chief, has a background in business, Navy service, and local civic work.
