He will study eight weeks at Interlochen National Music Camp in Michigan before starting his senior year at Interlochen Arts Academy. Hayes has played with multiple regional orchestras and studied under notable instructors.
A $3.5 million federal contract to Orville E. Madsen & Sons, Inc. of Minneapolis funds a two-building addition to the Forest Products Laboratory in Madison Wisconsin. Rep. Robert W. Kastenmeier announced the award.
