Monte Forbes, 63, a flying telephone repairman, is in Spar ta hospital after a crash near Clifton Wisconsin. He took off from Tomah at 7 30 am in a Cessna headed for Sussex with rain and fog reducing visibility. He struck a hill and is described as in serious condition. He previously crashed a line in April 1947 at Tomah but escaped serious injury.
