City to take over garbage collection if default occurs

Pizza Maker Loses Gas After Cutoff Sparks 180 Pizzas Waste

Samuel Presti of Mentor Ohio reports 500 pounds of dough wasted Wednesday as East Ohio Gas Co cut power during his bakery session. He says he was baking 180 pizzas and mixing dough for 1 300 more when the gas was cut off. Company says a cutoff notice was sent. Presti says he paid the bill and received no notice.

Crash leaves Iowan in critical condition

A one car crash at 12 45 am in Luana Iowa injured three occupants. Lonnie Schlitter 18 Luana is in critical condition with head abdominal and wrist injuries at La Crosse Lutheran Hospital. William Bartels 19 Lansing is in fair condition. Driver John Weitzel 29 Waukon was charged with drunk driving and released from Postville hospital.
