Mabel Bank Gets New Quarters In Minnesota
The 80 year old First National Bank of Mabel has new quarters with a south entrance, four private offices, six teller windows, and a drive in facility. The project involved Nelson Construction Co and several local contractors with Little and Humieker as architects. The bank, founded in 1893 as the Bank of Mabel, now reports deposits surpassing 10 million dollars. Government grain stock movements since January have shifted CCC grain into commercial channels, with over 250 million bushels entering the market as supply and demand influence prices. Farmers consider forward contracting and hedging to protect profits before planting seasons.
