Efi Laughs All The Way To The Bank
New Yorker Marian Christy reports on Efi Melas the 1954 Miss Greece who quit modeling to launch a fashion line. Her first American show sold to Harrods and Mark Foys, while she reflects on family disapproval and a 22 year modeling career earning over 500000 dollars. The Greece based star recounts Paris stints with Cardin and Desses, a topless swimsuit era, and a recent divorce after a 15 year liaison.
