Van Camp's Baked Beans Promoted Amid Scarcity
An advertising pitch defends Van Camp's beans as scarce and costly but worth the price. It praises Michigan white beans, a unique baking process, steam baking at 245 degrees, and a claimed shift in consumer habits toward these light, digestible beans. The piece argues against returning to old, mushy beans and urges continued use despite high costs.
