Flood Crisis Looms On Columbia Reach

Death of Labor Secretary Schwellenbach at 53
Secretary of Labor Lewis B. Schwellenbach died at Walter Reed hospital at 4 40 a m after a long illness. He was 53 and had served as senator and judge before taking the labor post three years ago.
