Demand for reserved tickets surges as Prof. Flynn, health culturist, prepares final lecture and demonstration at the Y M C A in La Crosse. A record crowd is expected tonight at 8 o clock after his private sessions conclude at the First M E church.
Prof Flynn offers a single tonight lecture at the Y M C A on YOUR health. The talk aims to deliver the core system lessons to any interested citizen of La Crosse, with tickets making buyers eligible for membership in the One Hundred Year Club. Time 8 o clock.

Jackson Kentucky June 8 Reports from Ed Callahan wounded feudist shot from ambush yesterday while opening his store say he is doing as well as could be expected. Posses are out to get the assassin with hounds and trail was followed to Longs Creek last night though the killer remains unknown.
Washington reports Taft and Gompers have buried the hatchet. The president sent personal letters of introduction to Gompers for his upcoming tour of labor conditions overseas, and Gompers expressed appreciation for the courtesy.
Miss Lina Kohlhaus youngest daughter of the late Jacob Kohlhaus will marry Anton Linker at the Kohlhaus residence 715 South Fourth Street at 6 o clock. A wedding supper will follow and the couple will depart on the 12 50 Milwaukee train to Niagara Falls on a grand tour of Europe ending in Germany.
La Crosse will not be represented at the National Waterworks convention in Milwaukee today. Commissioner of Public Works James T. Day initially planned to attend but did not end up going.
County Clerk Charles H. Rawlinson and family attend the commencement exercises at the Blind Institute in Janesville Wisconsin. His sister in law Miss Tamsyna Carlyle of La Crosse is among the graduates.
Secretary Humphreys of the state board of arbitration is in the city to press arbitration between street car workers and the company. The company favors open shop and has told car houses it will not listen to a union committee. Discharged workers hear of a possible reinstatement offer if they withdraw from the union, which they reject. A Trades and Labor council committee sought Henry Gund of Gand Brewing, a car company director, but he was not in his office. Work on bunk rooms was left unfinished last night and the cause is not explained to the men.
John P. Jessup of Jes sup & Co., consulting engineers in Mobile, Alabama, learned by telegram that his wife and two children were killed and his mother injured in an automobile wreck yesterday in Mobile. He rushed to Mobile, reeling from the news as he faced the family disaster.
In Lake Charles Louisiana Peter Drasig age 60 entered a department store and shot himself twice in the head. After collapsing he rose with a pistol and forced customers outside then drew a knife and cut his throat. He remained standing and fired again, dying from a temple wound. He believed pursuers threatened him.
In St Louis a mob shooting at the criminal court killing Fred Mohrle is linked to a gang feud after Mohrle was on trial for murder. Nineteen people are arrested amid claims Constable Kane was responsible, with witnesses naming the gang as orchestrators of the attack.
Charles B Miller a longtime attorney in this city died this morning after a year of illness at 1203 State street He practiced law for over 30 years and was born in La Crosse on September 13 1856 He leaves a widow five children three brothers and a sister The funeral is set for Thursday at 830 am from his home and 900 am at St Joseph Cathedral
The Woodmen committees plan a final meeting at Woodmen hall to finalize details for the Sparta picnic Thursday. Advance ticket sales suggest the largest Woodmen outing from the city, with a special train from Galesville leaving at about time.
Judge James A. Howe sustained the motion of the Rock Island Railroad and directed a verdict for the railroad in a $350,000 damage suit by Agar Packing company of Des Moines. The case hinged on whether hog shipments were a single continuous movement from outside Iowa to reshipment inside the state.
New York June 8 A look at the philanthropy of widow Mrs Russell Sage shows she will deplete the $65 million fortune in about five years at her current rate. For the past three years she has given away $25,000 daily, aiming to remove the causes of poverty rather than merely relieve it.
The infant children of Mr and Mrs K P Maddox 1703 Berlin street died last evening at home. Funeral will be Wednesday at 3 PM from the residence. Undertaker William Dwyer in charge. Interment at Oak Grove Cemetery.
