Freak Storm Kills Two In Lindina Farm
A freak cyclonic wind storm in Lindina town near Mauston destroyed John Dalton's farm, killing Dalton, 66, and his 13 year old son Phillip, injuring his wife, a daughter, and a visiting young man. The Dalton farmhouse and outbuildings were leveled, two horses died, and boat-house moorings along the river were damaged.
