Wisconsin dairy row fights Grudem reappointment to board
Madison reports intense opposition from the Wisconsin Cheesemakers' Association to Arden Grudem of Eau Claire surviving as a state Board of Agriculture member. Critics say his Jim Falls Creamery ties and stance on a two cent cheese marketing order conflict with industry interests. Grudem denies improper ties and defends his record. The Senate committee heard the contested appointments as track shifts on the marketing order and dairy policy.
