Fire traced to office wastebasket in Schneider Building
A fire gutted the offices of lawyer Matthew Corry and dentist Rudolph Horschak in the Schneider Building. Fire Chief Kahler ruled no arson. the wastebasket in Corry's office is the origin. Frederickson, Horschak, and several rescuers were treated for smoke inhalation. no fatalities reported.
