The decision reverses the Landis ruling imposing a $29,000,000 fine on the Standard Oil Trust. The trust claims victory with a sweeping ruling that cites a specific error and asserts no indictment was ever issued against defendants.
The U S circuit court of appeals unanimously set aside the 29 24 million fine against Standard Oil and ordered a new trial.
