Druggist John Kindley Dies After Long Career
John Kindley 77 of 804 Market Street died Sunday morning. Born in Ringsaker Norway on October 25 1870 he came to the United States at 15 and became a well known La Crosse pharmacist. He was an Elk Lodge member for 37 years and survived by his wife and three daughters Mrs A C Elliott of Western Springs Illinois Carol Ann Kindley and Nancy Joan Kindley of La Crosse. Funeral services are set for Wednesday at 3:30 p m at Bethel Lutheran Church with Rev O S Paulson officiating and burial in Oak Grove cemetery. Friends may call at Sletten McKee south side chapel Tuesday 7 to 9 p m.
