Cuban hijacker takes Nation Al Airlines flight to Havana
A Nation al Airlines DC8 diverted from Houston to Havana after a man with a grenade seized command of the plane. With 64 aboard including 57 passengers and 7 crew, the hijacker, described as a Cuban, walked away from the jet at Jose Martin Airport as FBI and police watched. The flight originated in Los Angeles with a stop in Houston before New Orleans.
