Death Ends War For Newton Child in Minneapolis

Andy Gilbertson of the Mecca saloon at 111 North Fourth Street was arrested on a warrant for selling liquor without a license, based on Mayor W. A. Anderson's information. He is charged with opening a saloon at 201 Pearl Street yesterday morning, across from the Law hotel, where the bar had operated despite no license. Gilbertson had applied for a license, which was refused, and the action was filed this afternoon.
