Train Kills Rail Worker James Hopkins in Wisconsin
James G. Hopkins, about 55, of Minneapolis, was found dead on the westbound Milwaukee tracks half a mile east of West Salem depot at 5:15 am Monday. He had been on a railroad construction crew at West Salem and was partly decapitated, with the body thrown 150 feet. Coroner Dr. George Reay said no relatives were located in Minneapolis.
