Three cars of Milwaukee rail line No 263 bound from Chicago to Seattle derailed in the east La Crosse yards at 2 48 am Thursday. No injuries or delays to other trains were reported. Police intercepted them after they attempted to pawn a ring at a St Joseph ridge tavern on highway 33. Sherman jumped from a squad car and was recaptured.
