Pioneer Albert Clinton Dies After Long Illness
Albert T. Clinton of La Crosse, a 53 year resident and longtime United States Express agent, died at 3 40 a m at 217 South Seventh Street after a two month illness. Born in Canton New York in June 1831 he moved west with later years spent in Milwaukee Waukesha and La Crosse where he founded a real estate office after retiring from express service. He and Mary Watsom were married in 1852. He lived at Seventh and Cass until selling the home last fall and moved to 214 South Seventh Street. Relatives gathered at his bedside. funeral arrangements to be announced.
