Canadian aero clinic hosted three American naval balloonists Stephen Farrell A L Kloor and Walter Hinton after their hazardous December flight from Rockaway. A dispute over a letter allegedly written by Hinton led to a blow between Farrell and Hinton, later settled as they prepared to depart for Toronto and Rockaway. Wives in New York called the tale unbelievable yet expressed belief in their husbands enduring courage.

The Wisconsin Minnesota Light and Power Company contracts are voided as rate increases are approved by the Wisconsin railroad commission. Judge Geiger of Milwaukee City Court noted a 1918 five year power contract with Holland Piano Co of Mehomonie WI. The temporary injunction granted January 2 1921 was vacated and the commission’s rate rise upheld, canceling all special existing contracts.
