Body of La Crosse Soldier Brought Home for Burial

Emil Koblica, 23, of La Crosse, died in France while with Company BK, 125th Infantry, Third Regiment, W N G. He was born March 27, 1892 at St Joseph's Ridge and fell August 1, 1915 during the 32nd Division advance into the Ste. Marne salient. Comrades of the American Legion will honor him Sunday at 2 PM from 921 Hood Street, with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery. He leaves six brothers: John, Frank, William, James, Sows, and Joseph.
