Milwaukee February report details a $100,000 suit by Kuryer Polski against Archbishop Messmer and four Wisconsin bishops alleging a church ban to ruin the Polish publication. The suit seeks a mandatory injunction and hinges on church state power, dating to 1911 1912 conflicts and a February 1912 circular denouncing the paper.

Albert o Madero uncle of the fallen Mexican president Abram Gonzales and several Chihuahua officials were said to be under arrest on a northbound train from Chihuahua city in Juarez. The train arrived without them and they were believed released to cross to the American side as Chihuahua revolts against the Huerta government surge with Pascual Orozco as the sole rebel leader to accept the new regime.
Washington reports that President Taft halted the execution of deposed Mexican President Madero, acting on humanitarian reasons. The move followed a message from Luis Manuel Rojos, who pleaded as a brother Mason for intercession, and Taft briefed President Huerta on the US position.
