David L. Brown owner of Tool and Die Co. and his wife Lorrine, both 45, died when a light plane crashed and burned in a farm field north of Mount Vernon Iowa. Former POWs Get Hugs from Teen-Agers at Clark Air Base
More than 1,000 teenagers greeted 20 released American prisoners of war at Clark Air Base Philippines. The POWs, held five years or more, posed for autographs and hugs before 18 flew to Travis Air Force Base California.
