Delmar Anderson and Felix Hurley of Columbus Ohio have signed with the La Crosse baseball association for the coming season. The contracts were received by President Elliott today. Scrappy Jones, a Champs member, secured the players and guarantees them speed. Jones signed W S George, pitcher for the Champs, last spring. Amateur negotiations have been completed between the Athletes and the Spaldings for an indoor baseball game in La Crosse on March 4 or 5. A committee was appointed to confer with Doerflinger Toland and Pamperin about advertising during the season. Doerflinger's Athletes will be the club name.
