Lieut. Young Reported Dead After WW II Mission

First Lieut. David W. Young 25 reported missing April 20 1944. His B 17 bomber attacked by enemy planes near Anzio Italy and fell toward the Tyrrhenian Sea four miles off the west coast. Nine parachutes were seen. a presumptive death finding follows after a year with no survival evidence. Survived by mother, father, brother in Alaska, and two sisters.
