Ex Arcadian Man Killed In Auto Crash Near Arcadia
Wilmer Myers 85 former Arcadia businessman and Burling ton Hotel owner died when his 1956 Chevrolet left STH 95 three miles south of Arcadia. The vehicle hit a bridge railing and plunged toward a creek after bouncing 100 feet. Investigating officers Glen Davis and Maurice Scow reported the 160 foot drive from the highway. Two Daughters and Neighbors Son Tangle in Wisconsin Farmstead Killing

A 4 year old neighbor boy confessed to the killings and was being held as investigators review the case. The couple’s daughters Patricia 16 and Cheryl 10 identified the gunman. The boy said he walked to the house with a .22 rifle and fired in the dark. The sheriff recovered the rifle and the boy was examined by a doctor before jail custody.
