Astronauts Return From 84 Day Skylab 3 Mission
Skylab 3 crew Gerald Carr William Pogue and Edward Gibson landed the Apollo capsule 176 miles southwest of San Diego after an 84 day 1 hour 16 minute orbiting mission. They were in excellent condition and underwent extensive medical exams aboard the USS New Orleans.
