Reunion Makes Grown Men Cry Kidnaped Boy Found Year Later
In Modesto California a year after a toddler was abducted from the Lauver family, deputies found the boy living five miles from home. A tip from a reader of a local paper led to the discovery and identification through footprints. The boy, later named Shawn Coffey, was reunited with his parents amid emotional scenes. Coffey and his wife were jailed on kidnapping charges.
