W. F. Goodrich Dies After Long Telephone Career
W F Goodrich aged 81 of 1611 King Street died in a local hospital on Thursday. He retired April 1 1934 after 32 years as secretary treasurer and manager of the La Crosse Telephone Corporation and its predecessors. He helped introduce underground cables and oversaw major property acquisitions and corporate mergers through the 1920s.
