City Woman Celebrating 90th Birthday in La Crosse Family
Mrs. Guri Davidson of La Crosse marks her 90th birthday with a gathering of 12 children at her son Edward’s home. Born in Kvam Norway on December 27 1860 she emigrated to the United States at 20 and married Andrew Davidson in 1884. Now living in La Crosse she has never spent a day in a hospital. Her husband died in 1937 and she remains active, reading the Bible and listening to the radio. Nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren accompany the large family spread across the country.
