County Clerks Cannot Serve as Janitors and Bank Depository Denied
Madison, Wis. Dec 19 Attorney General Gilbert rules county clerks may not be janitors as it would be a void public service contract. He also says county boards cannot designate a bank as depository or have a board chair act as a bond surety, deeming the action illegal.
