Minnesota swindles show man fleeced three institutions
Minneapolis police disclose a confidence man who bilked Minnesota of 14320 by phone last week and stole over 23000 from the University of Minnesota and Northern States Power Co. He also tried for 9320 from Investors Diversified Services. The ruses involved calls to bursars and bank staff and swift courier pickups.
