Trempealeau Firm Employe Stabbed in New Jersey Truck Stop
Cecil Morrison a 40 year old Trempealeau Wisconsin based trucker for Gilbertson Trucking Co was stabbed multiple times at a Kearny New Jersey truck stop while leaving after loading pet supplies from Harrison. He required 19 stitches and hoped to be released today. Police have made no arrests. The attack tied to trucker protests over gasoline prices and speed limits amid a planned two day stoppage. Morrison planned to drive to Winona Minnesota and later take a vacation with his wife and five children. He supports tougher actions by truckers but criticizes the method of violence.
